Hello Bronwen,

It's already a few weeks ago that we visit you're lovely B&B.
We had a wonderful time in your country and we want to come back for sure !
We hope you had a nice Christmas with your family and we hope with some nice
weather. We had a white Christmas so that's not to bad too.
As we promised we sent you some photos from our tour to the township, we are
showing the pictures to all our friends and family and everybody loves your
house and they like the picture with Joyce, Linda and me very much. Will you
please give a big hug for both of them !

Welcome to Pinelands Business Network, held monthly in Pinelands Library, second floor, hosted by Nicola Morris, Bronwen Dawes and Marley Dagharie, and joined by Inshaaf Solomon (CEO) and Shana Albertyn.

Business Network was established in 2002 and has grown to 46 franchises, meeting monthly to network, motivate, inspire and encourage each other.

For our November meeting we welcomed our motivational speaker Tom Purcell, former solicitor with English Premiership club Chelsea and currently Chairman of the Chelsea Supports Club South Africa, talking to us about the FIFA 2010 World Cup. Tom guided us on a journey through the facts & figures, sights & sounds that makes up this country's greatest ever social and economic opportunity.

These amazing photos of the Green Point Stadium were submitted by Cheryl Graney of Pine View on Keswick. It looks as if Cape Town is well on track to be a host City for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and we look forward to hosting many local and international tourists in Pinelands.

Taking a break with Tiny the lion cub

Running Pine Cottage B&B in Pinelands helps me to stretch and explore my entrepreneurial side, but as any small business owner knows, we function better and are more productive by taking regular breaks.

This last school holiday, my family and I loaded our off road motor bikes onto the trailer and headed for a weeks break to Boschenbach, a nature reserve in the hills outside Clanwilliam.

There we had the opportunity to explore the territory with our bikes. Perhaps the best experience was meeting Tiny, an 8 week old male lion cub, born on the reserve and being hand reared by Andre and his family.

When we first arrived at the reserve Tiny had been away from his mother only a few short days, and was far from comfortable with human companionship, but within a few days he was enjoying love and attention, and in fact seeking it.

Tiny has developed a loving bond with Shané, the youngest member of the family, and shows André, the proprietor, the respect that a cub would normally show the head lion.

Good evening

I am looking for help on weekends as from 1st June till end July. As my girls are on leave... Just weekends.

Ironing, able to make beds.. Breakfast is a plus...

Please if one of your girls is welling to work on weekends... ( no communication with guest needed)

I would have done it myself, but my health (and doctor) don t allow it...
